Customer-supplied smart devices, parts, subscriptions, apps, cloud services, WiFi connectivity, manufacturer compatibility and manufacturer warranties remain the customer’s responsibility. Handy Ivan can help with practical installation and basic setup support, but does not guarantee third-party app performance, network performance or manufacturer service availability.
Handy Ivan focuses on small-project smart home installation, device mounting, fixture-related controls, and maintenance-related electrical upgrades.
Electrical-related work is performed only within the scope allowed under California contractor licensing law. Some projects may require a licensed specialty electrical contractor or another specialty provider, including work involving new wiring, new circuits, panel work, major troubleshooting, permits, low-voltage system design, alarm monitoring systems, hidden electrical conditions, overheating, burning smells, recurring tripped breakers or emergency electrical hazards.
Handy Ivan is not a 24/7 emergency electrical service, alarm company or surveillance monitoring provider. For sparks, burning smells, exposed live wiring, power loss, fire risk, life-safety concerns or active security emergencies, contact the appropriate emergency provider or licensed specialty contractor.
