Ivan is originally from Slovakia and moved to San Diego in 2020 after first visiting the city and falling in love with the area. Before launching Handy Ivan, he gained hands-on construction and handyman experience in Europe, building a strong foundation in practical repairs, attention to detail, and quality workmanship.
Ivan also holds an MBA degree in General Management, which helps shape Handy Ivan’s professional approach to communication, scheduling, customer service, and project organization.
Today, Ivan lives in San Diego with his wife, Dominika, and their two daughters, Julia and Emma. Handy Ivan reflects his commitment to honest service, reliable workmanship, and helping local homeowners and businesses maintain and improve their properties.
